As the last days before your office moving date arrive, things start to move forward quickly. When these moments arrive you will start noticing that more difficulties arise because very little time is left to manage things.

Here are some tips that will help you to remain organized in those last moments before your office relocation.

Extra Cartons

Preparing extra cartons will always prove helpful. Even when you have packed everything there will always be some items that you will remember about just before your move. These newly discovered items will have to be packed as well and you will need additional cartons for that. When you find such items, just stuff them into those extra cartons. Use some tape to seal the cartons and toss them in your moving vehicle.

Extra Vehicles

An extra vehicle can prove quite crucial on your office moving day. There have been cases when businesses had many things to move and those things did not fit in their moving vehicles. Such problems can be fixed by arranging a new vehicle on an urgent basis.

During an office relocation, packing and moving experience may be quite stressful. While there is a necessity to cope up with this stress by taking some important measures and steps, it is also important to take care of the environment.

Here are some recycling techniques and tips that will help make your office relocation more environmentally friendly.

  1. Use Newspapers for Packing

Newspapers can be used as packing material. You can use them to wrap some delicate and fragile items that are at a danger of being damaged or scratched. Newspapers can also be shredded and stuffed in the moving boxes to fill up empty spaces so that damage can be minimized within the boxes while they are in transit.

The reason newspapers make it to this list is because they are not only cheap and easily available but also don’t harm the environment too much as they are biodegradable.

       2. Use Recyclable Styrofoam 

If you are going to use Styrofoam to fill up the empty boxes then you should know that Styrofoam is sometimes non-recyclable. If the Styrofoam that you are using is recyclable then you can easily recycle it by sending it to a recycling company through mail.

       3. Use Plastic Recyclable Packing Peanuts

Plastic packing peanuts can also be helpful for packing and can be used to fill up moving boxes that contain fragile items that are in danger of getting damaged while in transit. Some plastic packing peanuts are recyclable and you can recycle them easily by sending them through mail to a recycling company or other companies who can use and recycle them.

Another way of getting free boxes is by contacting the nearest grocery stores or retailers. Many stores are kind enough to give out used empty boxes for free. Once you have used the boxes and moved to a new office location, do not forget to recycle those boxes.

Packing Materials

Dispose Appropriately
